Van Patrick "Pat" Harrell, 54, of Olney, died Jan. 15, 1997 at Springfield Memorial Medical Center.  Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Harrell was born July 19, 1942, in Hammond, Ind., the son of James R. and Genelle (Williams) Harrell. He married Wilma J. Stephens June 8, 1967 at Elm Street Christian Church in Olney.

He was a retired nurses assistant at Richland Memorial Hospital and attended Grace Evangelical Church in Olney.

He is survived by his mother, his wife; one daughter, Stephanie N. Harrell of Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers, Gerald Harrell of Vernal, Utah and Jack Harrell of Rexburg, Idaho; one half-brother, James Harrell of Greenriver, Wyo.; two sisters, Sharon Mullinax of Murray, Utah and Peggy Miler of Laremy, Wyo.; two half-sisters, Ramona Harrell and Jeanine Tucker both of Laremy, Wyo.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
