Mildred Montgomery, 56 of 311 Rose Ann Drive, Olney died Sunday April 17, 1977 at Richland Memorial Hospital.  Services at Zirkle Funeral Home with Pastors Elmer Fenton and James Weiss officiating. Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born November 28, 1923, daughter of Marshall and Lucille VanMatre Montgomery.

She was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church, a long time member of the Delta Theta Tau, having two years ago received a lifetime membership.

From 1941 to 1971 she was an employee of the First National Bank in Olney, where she was a cashier.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Lucy Montgomery of Olney; a sister, Mrs. Elbert (Letha Ivene) Urfer of Decatur; one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1971.
