A graveside service for Virginia Sue (Foshee) Davis, 77, of Forest Ranch, California was held at Glen Oaks Memorial in Chico, California. “Sue” died Saturday, February 24, 2001 in Chico. Mrs. Davis was born October 3, 1923 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Charles M. and Dorothy J. (Bright) Foshee. On September 14, 1945 she married Robert Clark Davis in Norfolk, VA.

She retired after 17 years with Bank of America. She enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, spending summers in Lake Almanor and being with family.

Survivors include her husband, Robert of Forest Ranch; two sons, Chris of Forest Ranch and Richard of San Jose; a daughter, Karen Headrick of Cupertino; a sister, Dorothy Purdie of Titusville, FL; and seven grandchildren.
