Frank B. Godeke, 96, of Olney, died at 9:29 am. Friday, Dec. 19, 1997, at Richland Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Godeke was born Jan. 10, 1901, in Olney, the son of Henry and Elizabeth (Von Almen) Godeke.  He married Alice Thomann June 6, 1934.

He was a retired East Richland High School teacher, a former Rotarian and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Olney.

He is survived by his wife, of Olney; one son, Dan Godeke, of Mendocino, Calif.; one daughter, Harriett Glenn, of Malvern, Pa.; three grandchildren, Christopher and Allison Glenn, and Jason Godeke; and one great-grandchild, Milo Benjamin.

He was preceded in death by parents, two brothers and two sisters.
