Catherine C. Garretson, 74, of Hollister, Mo., died Saturday, April 10, 1993, at Skaggs Community Hospital in Branson, Mo.  The body was cremated. Memorial services at the Whelchel Funeral Chapel in Branson Mo. and in Olney at the Ebenezer Methodist Church of Olney.

Mrs. Garretson was born in Preston County, West Virginia, the daughter of Raymond and Christine Fretwell.

Mrs. Garretson was a retired teacher. She was a member of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Garretson is survived by one son, Frederick Garretson of Tennessee; two daughters, Judy Brewer of Olney and Rebecca Bossart of Hollister, Mo.; one sister, Lois Martin of Baltimore, Maryland; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
