Clarence A. “Jack” Swank, age 76 of Vista, California died Wednesday, December 16, 1998.  Born in Oklahoma on July 31, 1922 a son of John D. and Margaret Jane (Daniel/Key) Swank, he lived in Vista for two years.

Mr. Swank was a World War II, U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Geraldine “Gerrie” (Courson) Swank of Vista; son, Marty Courson of San Francisco; daughters, Lanette Langley of Auburn and Kelly Courson-Gonsalez of Carlsbad; brother, Jack “Casey” Swank of Gardena; sister, Thelma Swank Osborne of Wheatland and three grandchildren.

A graveside service held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park with interment to follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park..
