Robert Allen Shaw, 67, of Arlington, Washington, died Tuesday, June 23, 1992 at General Hospital Medical Center in Everett, Washington. Funeral services were held at Mountlake Terrace Baptist Church, Washington with burial at Marysville Cemetery, Washington.

Mr. Shaw was born July 16, 1924 at Loami, Illinois. He was raised in Illinois, graduating from Olney High School in 1941. He served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. He was elected Snohomish County Assessor from 1977 to 1987. He married Shirley Clements February 27, 1947.

Mr. Shaw is survived by his wife, Shirley Shaw of Arlington, Washington; one daughter, Charlotte Thompson of Arlington; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Marian Wright Coomer of Vincennes, Indiana and Betty McDonald of Albuquerque, New Mexico and several nieces and nephews of Olney.

Mr. Shaw was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruthie Shaw and Edna Dawson and one brother, Howard Shaw.
