Burnetta E. Utz, 76, of Olney died Thursday April 27, 2000 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.  Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Charles McDonald officiating. Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park.

Mrs. Utz was born September 22, 1923 in Richland County, the daughter of Carl and Elsie (Weesner) Rash. She married Gerald Utz May 31, 1941 in Olney. He survives.

She was a self-employed beautician and was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Olney.

Mrs. Utz is survived by her husband, Gerald Utz of Olney; one son, Ron Utz and his wife, Rita of Olney; one sister, Betty Burton of Owensboro, Kentucky; her mother, Elsie Rash Brian of Olney; four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildfren.

She was preceded in death by her father and one daughter, Jill Neff.
