Bernard D. King, 67, of Indianapolis, Indiana died Thursday, August 18, 1988 in St. Francis Hospital, Beech Grove, Ind. Services in Shirley Brothers East Chapel.

He was born in Olney on October 23, 1920 son of Rue Robert and Rose N. (Wells) King.

He had been an electrician 32 years for Northwestern Steel and Wire Company, Sterling, Illinois, retiring in 1983. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors are his wife, Mary C. King; sons, Charles, John R. and James King; daughters, Connie King, Barbara Foreman and Judy Burlage; sister, Neva Bunch and five grandchildren.
