Marjorie Clara Fehrenbacher (Stanton)

Marjorie Clara Stanton, 81, died August 20, 2004. The daughter of James H. Fehrenbacher and Hilda Kern, she was born in Bogota, Illinois and moved to her beloved Tucson in 1946.

After many very fulfilling years as a secretary she retired from the Sunnyside School District to travel and pursue her interests by taking classes, and volunteering with the Tucson Symphony Women, EASL, and other local organizations.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Brenda Lee Smith and son, James Craig Smith and spouses, George H. Smith, Jr. and Lyle G. Stanton.

She is survived by a sister, Florence Rowles of Atherton, CA; a brother, James A. Fehrenbacher of Tucson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Muriel (Mitzi) Brydle (Ray Corral) of Tucson, Charlotte Anne McDade (Spurgeon McDade) of Greenville, S.C.; two grandchildren and spouses, Kimberly Brydle, M.D. (Raymond Andrade) and Gregory Brydle (Jessica) both of Tucson; three great-grandchildren, Samantha, Johnathan and RaeAnne; and sister-in-law, Gabriella Joffroy.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Remembrances may be given to your favorite children's charity.
