Alda Jane Andrews, 81, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at Southwood Nursing Home in Terre Haute.

She was born April 1, 1923, in Wynoose, Ill., to Albert Raymond Dugan and Lela (Miller) Dugan.

She was a retired hostess at the Executive Inn as well as a homemaker. She also belonged to the McKinley Avenue Presbyterian Church. She attended Bible Baptist Church in Terre Haute.

Her husband, Ben Andrews, is deceased. She was preceded in death by one son, Mark Andrews, and two sisters, Virginia Rogers and Norma Anderson.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Richard and Nancy Andrews of Long View, Texas, Raymond and Bev Andrews of Taft, Calif., Michael Andrews of Puerto Rico, Linda Andrews of Terre Haute, Jeff Andrews of Atlanta, Patrick and Jeanne Andrews of Vincennes, and Dan and Teresa Andrews of Summerset, Ky.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tom Dugan of Olney, Ill., and Paul Dugan of Olney; and three sisters, Mary Ellen Smith of Olney, Karen Clow of Olney and Pauline Watson of Olney.

Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
