Thelma Irene (Bennett) Torlucci, 87, of Vero Beach, Florida,  died Sunday, December 27, 2009, at Palm Garden of Vero Beach, Fla.

Mrs. Bennett-Torlucci was born in Olney, Ill., and graduated from Olney Township High School in 1941. She lived in Vero Beach, Fla., for 30 years, coming from Miami.

Before retiring, she was an executive secretary.

Mrs. Bennett-Torlucci is survived by her brother, Monte Bennett, of Gainesville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Luella (Reever) Bennett and a brother, John E. Bennett.
