Mary Elizabeth Winchester, 94, of Olney, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Services at Trinity Lutheran Church in Olney with burial in Crest Haven Cemetery east of Olney.

Mary was born March 16, 1922 in Phoenix, Arizona, the daughter of Wilbert and Leila (Scherer) Schahrer.  She married Carl Boatman and raised two children. She later married Robert Winchester, who precedes her in death.

Mary lived a loving Christian life and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Olney.  She was active in the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for many years. She attended college in St. Louis, MO. She retired from Union Oil Company after 20 years of service.

She is survived by her son, Roger Boatman and wife, Shirley of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Nancy Boatman Montagnoli of Denver, CO; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren; stepchildren, Mick Winchester, Linda Dylla, Betty Richardson, Ken Winchester, Jim Winchester, Patti Winchester, Kathy Ault, Judith Winchester, and Dave Winchester.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, infant son, Neil, two brothers and one sister, and son-in- law, Chuck Montagnoli.
