Marilynn Miller (Hartshorn)

Marilynn Hartshorn, was born in Olney, Illinois to Margaret F. Miller and E.L. Miller on June 22, 1922. After her marriage to Arthur A. Hartshorn, they moved to Oklahoma with Pure Oil Company and after several more moves, they retired in Wheat Ridge, Colorado in 1957.

Marilynn passed away April 12, 2009 at Exemplar Colorado Lutheran Home in Arvada, Colorado at the age of 87.

Marilyn will be remembered as a woman of many talents, as well as a polio survivor. The Denver Alzheimer's Association honored her letter to send to the Governor of Colorado requesting his help in passing of legislation for spousal rights. The bill passed in 1993 in the state of Colorado.

Marilynn was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Arthur A. Hartshorn. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Saxe; grandsons; brother, Frank Miller of Olney; sister, Lynn Neatherly of Arlington, Texas; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
