June Dickerson, 91, of Noble passed away on Jun 14, 2014 at Burgin Manor, Olney, IL. She was born June 21, 1922 in Noble, IL to Richard D. and Mary M. (Skelton) Hawkins. She married Robert E. Dickerson on August 24, 1946 Olney, IL, he precedes her in death.

June was an expert seamstress. She sewed cheerleader outfits for several years for Noble High School. She helped with 4-H knitting and crocheting. June took pleasure in working the Noble Chowder. She wintered in Brownsville, TX for over thirty years. When in Noble you could find June at the Tin Cup every morning enjoying coffee with friends. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Noble and HEA.

She is survived by her daughter, Sally Wysong and husband Gary of Noble, IL; granddaughter, Susie Brown and husband Rick of Bushnell, IL; grandson, David Wysong of Noble, IL ; three great-grandchildren, Courtney, Logan and Jacob Brown; brother, John D. Hawkins of Noble, IL; aunt, Nora Lou Esty of Sun City, AZ.

June was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister-in-law, Julia Hawkins.
