Miss Lois Hallam, 19, daughter of Mrs. Ray Speering of Olney, died Friday, November 28, 1941 at the Olney Sanitarium following a short illness. Miss Hallam was born November 3, 1922 in Wayne County and was a member of the 1940 graduating class at Olney High School.

Surviving are her mother and step father, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Speering; her father, Harold L. Hallam, Sr. of Albion; and one brother, Harold Hallam, Jr. of Albion.

The body was removed to the Olney Funeral Home and services held there with W.P. Durham of Bone Gap, officiating. Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery.
