After living in Lucerne Valley for 18 years and the passing of Everett in 1984, she moved to Redding, California. She met and married Glen Kilburn who preceded her in death in 2004. In December of 2012, she returned to Lucerne Valley to live in the home of her son and daughter-in-law, David and Laura Mount.

In retirement, Frankie enjoyed traveling, playing card games, and reading. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Redding and attended Lucerne Valley Bible Fellowship.
