Capt. Roy Carroll Caudle, age 73, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, formerly of Memphis, Army Captain, died of heart failure Saturday, September 5, 1998 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Murfreesboro. He was born October 24, 1924 in Sandusky, Alabama a son of Roy H. and Elizabeth (Addison) Caudle. He married Barbara A. Hussey October 1, 1949 in Talladega, Alabama.

Capt. Caudle was a WW II United States Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by brother, Dr. Harold Curtis Caudle and parents, Roy H. and Elizabeth Caudle.

He is survived by sons, Roy Carroll Caudle Jr, Philip Stanton Caudle and Rick Curtis Caudle, all of Atlanta, Georgia; brothers, Philip Stanton Caudle, Memphis, Tennessee and Jimmy Dale Caudle of Huntsville, Alabama; grandchildren, Chase, Sarah and Anna Caudle.

Remains rest at the Hendersonville Chapel of Phillips-Robinson Co. where funeral services will be conducted. Interment at Woodlawn East Memorial Park with full Military Honors.
