Anna Mae Bohrer (Roach)

Ann M. (Bohrer) Roach, 75, a native of Olney, died Tuesday, December 2, 1997, at her residence. Services at Delhomme Bertrand Chapel of the Flowers of the First United Methodist Church with burial in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery in Lafayette, La.

Roach was a native of Olney, the daughter of the late Louis H. and Carrie J. (Utz) Bohrer. She married Joseph W. Roach Sr. in 1943.

She was a graduate and the Valedictorian of Olney High School Class of 1940. A resident of Lafayette, La., since 1959, she worked for Montgomery Ward Central Credit until her retirement in 1982. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women's Association.

She is survived by one son, Joseph W. Roach Jr., of Sugarland, Texas: two daughters, Rebecca Ann Roach and Beth Mallet, both of Lafayette, La.; one sister, Imogene Jones, of Farmington, Mo.; one brother-in-law, Jack Roach, of Gatesville, Texas; five grandchildren, Mark C. Roach, Jodi Lynn Roach, Will Franklin, Alex Mallet and Joey Mallet: and one great-granddaughter, Connie Marie Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
