Della “Marie” (Tucker) Huffman, age 86, of West Dundee, Illinois passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.

Marie was born in Midland, Michigan on January 20, 1936, and was one of 12 children born to the late William H. & Mary R. (Byrd) Tucker. On August 20, 1955, she married her beloved husband Albert B. Huffman. Al preceded Marie in death on November 5, 2002, after 47 years of marriage.

For over 50 years, Marie made her home in the Dundee area and was a long-time member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in West Dundee.

Survivors include her son, Ronald, D.D.S. (Mary Beth) Huffman; her daughter, Michelle (Patrick) Creegan; her brother, Don (Betty) Tucker, and sister, Rose Beach, along with a plethora of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Marie was preceded in death by her ten siblings.

Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Church in West Dundee with burial at River Valley Memorial Gardens in West Dundee.
