Carolyn L. Nuding, 73, of Olney, died Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. Graveside services at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney with Reverend Greg Hall officiating.

Carolyn was born February 16, 1938, in Richland County, the daughter of Everett L. and Frances (Walden) Williams. She married James Nuding on November 24, 1957, in Olney.

She was a member of Olney Church of God and a member of Unite. She worked as a garment maker for 35 years in Du Quoin. She graduated from East Richland High School in 1956. She was a kind and generous person.

Carolyn is survived by a brother, Alfred Glen Williams and his wife, Pam, of Mt. Pleasant, Mich.; a sister, Shirley Stout and her husband, George, of Olney; several nieces and nephews; and 12 cousins.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Frances Williams, and husband, James Nuding.
