John Edward Marks, age 22, of near Olney died Friday, February 24, 1961 in Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney. John was born February 20, 1939 in Edwards County Illinois, son of Woodrow and Sylvia N. (Fildes) Marks.

He leaves his parents, Woodrow and Sylvia Marks; sisters, Linda of Carbondale, Sallie and Bettie, both at home.

Services held in the Nazarene Church, Olney. Schaub Funeral Home in charge. Burial in Macedonia Cemetery, West Salem, Illinois.
