John E. Franklin, 28, died Friday, April 28, 1967 in Pekin Memorial Hospital, Pekin, Illinois. Funeral services in First Methodist Church, Olney with burial in Dundas Cemetery, Dundas, Illinois.

He was born August 19, 1938 in Dundas, a son of Howard and Malinda (McQuillen) Franklin. He married Linda York December 10, 1965 in Olney.

John is survived by his wife and mother and was preceded in death by his father.

He was a member of the Methodist Church at Dundas.
