Jerry E. Cowman, 63, of Olney died Wednesday February 13, 2002 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana

Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Wells officiating. Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Mr. Cowman was born on October 2, 1938 in Calhoun, the son of Delbert and Bernice (Leathers) Cowman. He married Carolyn Brooks on June 15, 1958 in Olney. She survives.

He was a farmer and a tool and die maker at Champion Laboratories in West Salem. He was minister at Pleasant Ridge Church.

Mr. Cowman is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cowman of Olney; his father, Delbert Cowman of Olney; two sons, Gary Cowman of Claremont and Larry Cowman and his wife, Kathy of Claremont; a daughter, Marilyn Cox of Calhoun; a brother, Johnnie Cowman and his wife, Roberta of Newton; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
