Barbara Jourdan, 72, of Olney, died Friday, June 3, 2011, at her residence.

Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Debra Lee officiating. Burial  in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont.

Mrs. Jourdan was born July 29, 1938, the daughter of John and Pearl (McManmie) Coan. She married Cloren Dee Jourdan on January 25, 1958, in Olney. He preceded her in death on January 30, 2000.

She had worked for Richland County Abstract Company. She was a member of Eagles Lodge, American Legion and Moose Lodge in Bridgeport.

Mrs. Jourdan is survived by her son, Robert Jourdan, of Olney; daughter, Paula "P.J." Wilson and her fiancé, Terry Groves, of Noble; cousin and best friend, Phillip Coan; grandchildren, Howard Wilson Jr. and Jeff Wilson; and two great-grandchildren, Gabriel Wilson and Korin Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Pearl Coan; husband, Cloren Dee Jourdan; sisters, Helen Coan Hance, Mary Coan Hulse and Lavada Coan Yancey; and cousin and best friend, Bertha Bradham.
