Jerry L. Boley, 51, 919 South Fair, Olney, died Sunday Feb. 17, 1991.   Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park.

Mr. Boley was born July 8, 1939 in Richland County, the son of Karl and Alice (Fritschle) Boley. He married Kathryn Askew on Jan. 30, 1960 in Noble.

Mr. Boley was a school teacher starting in the East Richland School District in 1960 receiving a 30 year teacher award in 1989. He received a Bachelors in Science and Education from Eastern Illinois University and a Masters in Audio-visual Aid Education from Eastern Illinois University. He was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Illinois and National Education Associations and the Olney Square-N-Aders.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; one son, Mark R. of Olney; one daughter Lori and husband, Don R. Jordan of Evansville, Ind.; his mother, Alice Boley of Olney and mother-in-law, Arlie Askew of Lawrenceville.
