Anna Katherine Bullard, 83, of Olney died Tuesday, March 14, 1996 at Richland Memorial Hospital.  Her body was cremated.

Bullard was born Feb. 14, 1913 in Olney, the daughter of Simon L. and Louise M. (Kaiser) VonAlmen. She married Walter C. Bullard Jan. 2, 1943 in Monterey, Calif.

She taught homemaking at East Richland High School in Olney for many years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Olney, the Olney Women's Club and the Ridgway Chapter of the Illinois Audubon Society. She also founded Ridgway Memorial Assoc. to preserve Bird Haven and she was instrumental in the funding of the Heritage House Museum in Olney.

She is survived by her husband, of Olney; a son, Robert Bullard and his wife, Belinda of Battle Creek, Mich.; a brother, Karl VonAlmen of Newport Richey, Fla.; three grandchildren; three nieces and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters and one nephew.
