Marjorie Ann Fleming, age 68 of Wheeler, IL and formerly of Olney, IL passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL. Private services held at a later date.

Marjorie was born on July 31, 1946 in East St. Louis. Illinois the daughter of Ralph and Margaret (Schmidt) Fritter. She married Carl Alden Fleming on April 17, 1971 and he preceded her in death on July 13, 2010.

Marjorie worked as a substitute teacher and as librarian until retirement from Olney High School.  She enjoyed being a farmer’s wife and reading.

Marjorie is survived by a daughter, Deborah (Joshua) Lester of Wheeler, IL and a grandson, Samuel Lester of Wheeler.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Jacob Fritter and sister, Leona Haberberger.
