Edna L. Henline, 94, died at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Funeral services at Trinity Lutheran Church in Olney with Rev. Gary Ryden officiating. Burial in Evergreen Memorial Park in Hobart, Ind.

Mrs. Henline was born March 29, 1911 in Hobart, the daughter of Dr. Louis M. and Wilhelmina (Batterman) Friedrich. She married John W. Henline on June 11, 1938 in Hobart. He preceded her in death January 25, 1998.

She was an English teacher in Hobart for five years and then at East Richland High School for 20 years.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Clio Club, Business and Professional Women's Club, Dorcas Circle, Edelweiss German Club, Richland Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and Retired Teachers Organization.

She was a 1928 graduate of Hobart High School and a 1933 graduate of Valparaiso University.

She is survived by a daughter, Lana Brown and her husband, Edwin F. of Milton, Delaware; a granddaughter, Suzanne Wiltgen and her husband, James of Gettysburg, Pa.; a grandson, Philip Hofer and his wife, Michele of Dillon, Colo.; three great-grandchildren, John, Elena and Claudia Wiltgen of Gettysburg, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother and three sisters.
