I would like to thank George Rumsey for giving me my first head coaching job at Olney. George was such a pleasure to work for during the 1980's. George had a special ability to adapt to any circumstance, and work with any type of person. George would always sit and listen to any crazy idea I may have had, and always gave me a fair and honest answer. I felt like I learned a lot from George about how to manage people. No one will ever say he was not always truthful and honest. I will always have the utmost respect for Mr. Rumsey.

Allen and I are both sorry to hear of your loss Nancy.  Mr. Rumsey had a problem with me getting to school on time my senior year so he decided to have me come into the office, every morning on time, and say "Good morning, Mr. Rumsey"!  Fixed the problem in a very short period of time!  He certainly was a fine man.
