Charles V. Hicks, 69 of Midland, Texas, formerly of Olney died Friday May 25, 1990 in Midland.

Burial was in Midland.

Mr. Hicks was a former Pure Oil employee and later an employee of Union 76. He lived in Olney until 1960 before transferring to Denver, Colo. He had resided in Midland since 1971.

Surviving are his mother of California; sister and brother, both of California; four sons, Michael, Larry, Gary all of Texas and Mark of Oklahoma; and one daughter, Valerie of Midland.
