Ruby K. Kinkade, 92, of Franklin, Ind., and formerly of Indianapolis, Ind., died Sunday, March 30, 2014.  Funeral services at Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin, Ind. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Ind.

Mrs. Kinkade was born January 31, 1922, in Olney, the daughter of Everett and Hannah Lambert Shipley. She married Clayton W. Kinkade on June 9, 1940, in Olney. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2001.

Ruby was a member of Grace United Methodist Church (Franklin) and a former member of University Heights United Methodist Church. She had been employed by University of Indianapolis and previously University Heights United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Kinkade is survived by a daughter, Johanna (Raymond) McCoy, of Seffner, Fla.; a son, C. Lynn (Grace Strange) Kinkade, of Evansville, Ind.; grandchildren, Clayton McCoy, of Tampa, Fla., and John (Shannon) McCoy, of Brandon, Fla.; a great-grandson, Finn McCoy; and a sister, Kathaleen Larsen, of Lopez Island, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and siblings, Vena Fisher, Evelyn Schnepper, and Loren and Wayne Shipley.
