Walter (Walt) E. Shearer, 72, of Worland, Wyoming and formerly of Olney, died Tuesday February 5, 1991 in a Worland hospital.

Mr. Shearer was born October 22, 1918 in Olney, the son of Ben and Dessie (Everett) Shearer. He married Dorothy Beavers February 13, 1941 and she preceded him in death.

He was a veteran of World War II.

Services in Worland with a military burial in a Worland cemetery.

Mr. Shearer is survived by his wife, Cleo; one son, Lawrence (Sonny) of Worland; one daughter, Mrs. Marla Smith of Laramie, Wyo.; two brothers, Elmo of Oxnard, Calif. and Tom of St. Francisville; four sisters, Mrs. Eunice Miller and Mrs. Mary Ellen VanBlaricum of Olney, Mrs. Bertie Simons of Robinson and Mrs. LaVon Crum of Claremont; and four grandchildren.
