Marcella L. Hockman, 66, Olney died Thursday June 30, 1988 at Richland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services at Summers Funeral Home with the Rev. Dewey Thackston presiding. Burial in Dillman Cemetery in Sailor Springs.

Mrs. Hockman was born December 22, 1921 in Sailor Springs, the daughter of Eldridge and Cecelia Elizabeth (Fisher) Levitt. She married John Hockman Sr. on February 15, 1941. He survives.

Mrs. Hockman was a retired secretary. She had worked for the Murvin Oil Company in Olney. She was a member of the Elm Street Christian Church in Olney.

Mrs. Hockman is survived by her husband, John; one son John Hockman Jr. of Olney; one brother, M.D. Levitt of Hudson, Fla.; and her father, Eldridge Levitt of Sailor Springs.

She was preceded in death by her mother.
