Carl E. Kurtz

Carl E. Kurtz, 50, of Quincy, Michigan died Thursday, May 18, 1972 in the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor. Born in Somerset, Illinois son of Ernest O. and Dessie (Harrolle) Kurtz, he had been a Quincy resident for several years.

He had been employed as an egg grader by the U. S. Department of Agriculture. Kurtz was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Quincy American Legion Post and St. Charles Catholic Church of Coldwater.

He is survived by his widow, the former Roberta Roth; his father, Ernest Kurtz of Illiopolis; daughters, Phyllis, Sandra, Cynthia, Pamela and Brenda Kurtz, all at home; sons, James and Kenneth Kurtz, both at home, Michael of Quincy and Donald of Los Angeles, Calif.

Services at St. Charles Catholic Church, Coldwater with burial in that city.
