Mildred M. Workman, 92, of Olney, died at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Cremation rites were accorded. Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Workman was born December 7,1921, the daughter of Raymond Henry and Edith Alice (Herrin) Jones. She married Robert Workman on January 21, 1950. Mildred worked in Evansville, Ind. during World War II and attended business school at night. She later moved to Alaska for several years, returning to Olney after her husband Robert's death.

Mrs. Workman is survived by her sister, Betty Forney, of Olney; brother, Charles Jones, of Olney; brother, Fred Jones, of Olney; brother, Kenny Jones, of Arlington, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, James, Jack and Dale.
