Charles "Gus" Heath, 77 of Olney died Thursday, December 15, 1998 at his residence.

Mr Heath was Born Jan 21, 1921, in Calhoun, the son of Albert James and Nell (Stevens) Heath. He married Kathryn Osborn Jun 5, 1948.

He retired as a teacher, coach, and athletic director at Lakeview High School in Decatur wher he worked for 27 years.  He was a W W II U.S. Nay veteran, having served on the aircraft carried USS Essex.

He is survived by his wife two sons, Charles Kent Heath and Brent Daniel Heath, one sister Mary Sizer and one sister in law Printha Heath.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Albert.
