Floyd E. Williams, 75, of Calhoun, Illinois, died on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Floyd was born on March 13, 1947 in Olney, Illinois, the son of Calvin Leroy and Velma Anna (Haenggi) Williams. He married Barbara Reed on September 1, 1972 at Calhoun Methodist Church. Barbara preceded him in death on December 25, 2016.

Floyd was president of the Calhoun Community Club and sat on the Village Board for many years. He was a US Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. Floyd enjoyed camping, hunting, spending time outdoors, and feeding the birds and squirrels on his property. Floyd also took pleasure in gardening. Floyd had a great sense of humor and enjoyed talking to people. He will be missed by all those that knew him.

Floyd is survived by his son, Brandon Williams and wife Misty of Olney; daughter, Lorinda Henson and husband Scott of Albion; grandchildren, Colton (Ashley) Williams, Dalton (Danielle) Williams, Chase Williams, Haleigh Williams, Maycee Williams, Kolby Petty, and Miranda Petty; Great Grandchildren, Evie and Knox Williams; sisters, Shirley Bissey and Linda Hudson; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney.

Interment at Richland Cemetery. Full Military Rites will be performed at the graveside.
