Linda S. (Watkins) Beckwith, 74, of Olney, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at Carle RMH in Olney.  Linda was born November 27, 1948 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Kenneth L. and Violet (Jones) Watkins. She married James Beckwith on December 20, 1985, and he preceded her in death on January 12, 2011.

Linda was an avid quilter, and she belonged to the Olney Quilt Guild. She made many friends during her time in Olney. She and Jim lived in Minnesota for many years, and Linda moved back to Olney once Jim passed away in 2011. She enjoyed watching movies, reading, and fishing. Linda will be missed by those that knew her.

Linda is survived by her brother, Michael (Gale) Watkins; Katherine (Lloyd) Bromeling; nephews, Josh, Nathan, Nakarin, and Isaiah; nieces, Kelsey, McKinna, and Kynlee.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Cremation Rites will be accorded, and Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney is assisting the family with arrangements.
