Martha D. Mattingly, 59, of Olney, died Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  Services at Praise Harvest Church in rural Olney with Pastor Johnny Pflaum officiating.

Mrs. Mattingly was born April 12, 1948, in Champaign, the daughter of Don and Arlene (Ayres) Stanley. She married Herman Mattingly on March 24, 1968.

She worked in line production and as an EMT at North American Lighting in flora.

Her hobbies included many outdoor activities, especially nature, animals and fishing. She enjoyed traveling, reading, playing games, spending time with her family and attending church services.

Mrs. Mattingly is survived by her husband, Herman Mattingly, of Olney; a son and daughter-in-law, Denny and Jaylene Mattingly, of Olney; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; parents, Don and Arlene Stanley, of Olney; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Gary Watson, of Olney; and two nephews.

She is preceded in death by her in-laws, Glen and Marie Mattingly.
