Joanne Bahl, 60 of Claremont passed away March 4, 2009.  Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Stringtown.

Joanne was born on October 22, 1948, in Richland County, the daughter of Ephraim and Helen (Kocher) Rennier. She married Jerome Ralph Bahl on January 9, 1968. He preceded her in death on February 3, 1998.

She was a retired beautician and had formerly worked in the bakery at Big Johns.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stringtown. Mrs. Bahl is survived by her son, Daniel Ephraim Bahl and his wife, Kelly, of Olney; brother, Robert Rennier and his wife, Judy, of Olney; brother Melvin Rennier and his wife, Donna, of Claremont; sister, Charlene Schwager, of Flora; sister, Delores Hemrich, of Olney; sister Mary Volk and her husband, Herman, of Claremont; sister, Rita Schafer and her husband, David of Newton; and two grandchildren, Danielle and Hannah. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brian; daughter, Diane Marie; and three brothers, Richard, Kenneth and James.
