Leonard Dean Pauley, 49, of Highland, Calif., formerly of Olney, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 1997, in Redlands, California.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney, with Rev. Dwayne Sovdi officiating. Burial in Crest Haven Cemetery near Claremont.

Pauley was born Oct. 5, 1947, in Olney, the son of Escoe and Dollie (Linxwiler) Pauley. He married Mary R. Whalen in September 1974 in California.

He was a customer service representative at Nightscaping Lighting in Redlands, Calif: and was affiliated with the church of New Life Ministies in Highland, Calif.

He is survived by his wife, of Highland, Calif.; three sons, Todd Pauley, of Louisiana, Tim Pauley, of Mississippi, and John Randall Pauley, of Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Erin Pauley, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Brandi Pauley,. of Highland, Calif.; one sister, Raedell Sager, and her husband, Jim, of Olney; eight grandchildren; and two nephews, Jim Sager, his wife, Sandy, and their daughter, Jamie, and Jesse Sager, his wife, Tamie, and their son, Erik, all of Olney..

He was preceded in death by his parents.
