Judy (Lathrop) Heiser, 74, of Olney, formerly of Berryville, Illinois passed away February 3, 2022 at Helia Healthcare. Judy was born February 10, 1947 in Olney, IL to Charles O. and Betty (Whiteside) Lathrop. She married William Raymond Heiser on November 22, 1969 at Berryville Christian Church. He preceded her in death on September 9, 2019.

Judy enjoyed collecting Longaberger baskets and reading books. She loved animals, especially her cats. Judy thoroughly enjoyed her nieces and nephews and watching the next generation grow up. She took pleasure in visiting her brother on his farm. Judy worked as an RN for more than 40 years and loved taking care of people.

She was a member of Berryville Christian Church

Judy is survived by her brother, Charles Lathrop and girlfriend Lynn Hinderliter; nieces, Crystal (Doad) Cogswell and Sonya Emmons; nephew, Bert (Dee) Lathrop; Great nieces, Katrina Curry, Shelby Curry, Tiffany Emmons, Kameron Lathrop, Payton Hash, Brooklyn Lathrop, Alexa Lathrop; Great nephews, Levi Emmons, Ian Curry, and Jase Lathrop. Great great nieces, Haylee Mardyla and Karter Mardyla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant niece, Ann Marie Lathrop, and nephews, Gary Davidson and Earl Emmons.

A funeral will be held at 4:00 PM on February 12, 2022 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. A visitation will be held one hour before service time at the funeral home.
