I can only echo Rod's sentiments.  Joanne was a shining light for us at St. Joe's and at ERHS. Her smile lit up every room she entered. She was smart, generous, kind, and beautiful in every way.  At our last reunion she surprised and touched me with a remembrance of my mother.  In thanksgiving for my mother's kindness, Joanne offered that she regularly visited the St. Joe's cemetery and that she would look after my loved ones.  It brings tears to think of her lovely spirit being gone from us.  My deepest condolences to her family.

In sorrow, Marcella

So sorry to hear of Joanne''s passing.  Although we spelled our first names differently, she and I had the height going on on high school and we often joked that Joanne's were tall. She was a gentle spirit and I feel bad I didn't get to speak with her at our 50th. My sincere condolences to her family.
