Danny, I thank you for your service to our county freedom. Your knowledge on many topics was outstanding and enjoyed reading many of your FB posts. I really enjoyed challenging you in daily Wordle. Of course your vocabulary far exceeded mine.

We lost our classmate but heaven got a very special soul.

I am saddened to hear of Danny's passing. At this time in life our minds are full of memmories, they are all there, but the recall is random, never knowing what triggers them. I remember Danny from grade school. He lived just south of Silver street school across the little creek at the "Y" on the West side of the street. I have been in his house a few times. I remember him as a quiet reserved, almost shy soft spoken boy. He was a childhood friend when times were good.  He was the only boy in school with silver hair. I have to push my imagine button to place him as a hard charging Marine. Thankyou for your service.

There is no greater honor than to serve your country.

Fair winds and following seas.      Master Chief  Danny Totten U.S.N. Retired
