Judy (Hayes) Rennier, 74 of Olney, passed away at 5:14 PM on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. Judy was born on July 13, 1947, in Olney, the daughter of Clifford and Viola (Fulk) Hayes. She later married Robert Rennier on July 14, 1964 in Olney. He survives.

She worked as a dispatcher for the Richland County Sheriff’s Office and Olney Police Department for several years. She also worked as a secretary in the Olney Police Department. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Olney. She was very involved in her church and loved attending events with the Ladies Ministry. She headed up the Card Ministry at her church and would send cards to people for encouragement, birthdays, new babies and many other milestones. She was a social butterfly and never met a stranger. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She had a passion for taking care of animals such as raccoons, opossums, squirrels or any other stray animal she could find. She loved doing crafts and enjoyed canning when she was younger.

Judy is survived by her husband Robert Rennier of Olney; 3 sons Rob Rennier (Carol) of Olney, Russ Rennier (Tracy) of Olney, and Tim Hahn (Brandee); daughter Amanda Zuber of Olney; 10 grandchildren Audrey, Lynsey, Brittany, Courtney, Alyssa, Conner, Bree, Josh, Jordan, and Hali; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Viola Hayes, and a sister and brother.

Private family memorial service will be at 2 PM on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Private family visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery in rural Edwards County. Pastor Paul Goss will be officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded.
