Nicki Denise Tolen Jensen, 28 of Austin, Texas and formerly of Olney died of natural causes at 6:15 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 1989 at her residence in Austin. Funeral services at Summers Funeral Home with Rev. David McNabb officiating burial in Crest Haven Cemetery.
She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana January 11, 1961, the daughter of Robert Thomas Tolen and Judith (Nichols) Tolen.
She was a graphic designer and illustrator for Three AD in Austin. She recently received an Addy Award.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Roger (Valorie) Boldrey, Mt. Dora, Fla.; her mother, Judy Tolen of Del Ray Beach, Fla.; grandmothers, Mrs. Rosemary Tolen and Mrs. Hilah Nichols both of Mattoon; one niece and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father.

Such a beautiful young lady . I remember her as being artistic .
I knew her parents, Bib and Judy , and her sister, Val . It is really hard to lose a child , not matter what their age is .

Nicki had one of the most radiant smiles of anyone I have ever known.
She was a great person, and fun to be with. Very warm, and very sincere.
I will never forget her.
