Cynthia "Cindy" Diane Elliott,  54, of Olney died Tuesday April 2, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Cremation rites accorded with services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney.

Cindy was born on November 26, 1958 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Charlses W. Snyder and Helen Maxine (Thomas) Snyder. She married Rick Elliott on October 6, 1977.

Cindy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary (Past President) and the Olney Eagles. She was also a member of the Christian Church of Olney.

Cindy loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed playing bingo, being outdoors, and loved animals. She had a big heart and never met a stranger, She will be sorely missed by all those that knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Elliott of Olney; Mother, Helen Maxine Snyder of Olney; Daughter, Amy Elliott of Olney; Son, Dustin Elliott of Olney; Sister, Linda Thompson and husband Jay of Mattoon, IL; Brother, Chuck Snyder and wife Tracy of Olney; Grandchildren, Dominik, Cameron, Hannah, and Preston Elliott; Nephew, Kyle Thompson; Nieces, Alexis and Leah Snyder; Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chuck W. Snyder, maternal grandparents, John and Amy Thomas, and paternal grandparents, Hal and Hannah Snyder.
