Tony Lee Wells, 44, of Homewood, formerly of Olney died Sunday March 8, 1998 at South Suburban Hospital in Homewood.

Memorial services at Freedom Baptist Church in Noble with Rev. Glenn Fehrenbacher officiating. Private family interment of ashes at South Freedom Cemetery at a later date.

Wells was born August 17, 1953 in Flora, the son of James and June (VanBlaricum) Wells.

He was an artist, having formerly worked in Washington, D.C. at the Kirkland Art Gallery and also was self-employed with his father. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Noble.

He is survived by his parents of Olney; one sister, Susan Wells Schwartz of Homewood; one nephew, Alec Schwartz and one niece, Carlee Schwartz.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elbert and Eva VanBlaricum and Bob and Gertrude Wells.
