Dave Spieth

David Curtis Spieth, age 42, of Payson, Utah passed away Friday, December 1, 1995 in Cottonwood Hospital in Murray, Utah, after a valiant battle with cancer

He was born January 7, 1953 in Olney, Illinois, a son of Fredrick, Jr and Eleanor Louise (Evans) Spieth. He married Camille Marie Hansen, August 28, 1975 in the Cardston, Alberta, Canada LDS Temple.

David grew up in Olney, Illinois, graduating from East Richland High School. He attended Ricks College and graduated from Brigham Young University. He taught school in Texas. He worked for Westpro in Provo, Utah and then Promation in Salt Lake City.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many capacities, including a Branch Presidency in Illinois, a Stake Executive Secretary in Texas and several times as Ward Clerk.

He was a wonderful Husband and Father and devoted to his family.

Survivors include his wife, Camille and four sons and three daughters: Scott, Angela, Charles, Vohne, Sarah, Stuart and Rebecca, all of Payson. His mother, Eleanore Spieth and brother, Lawrence Joseph Spieth, both of Olney, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Services in the Maple Dell LDS Ward Chapel, Payson. Burial in the Payson City Cemetery.
